January 31st is always a sensitive date for the art world. On this day, 20 years ago, the fire devastated for the second time in Liceu’s history, one of the hubs of Barcelona. Fortunately, neither this time the fire was not able to end with the cultural energy of the city opera theatre, ​​which today is still beating in Les Rambles, in the heart of Casc Antic (city downtown) .

This trajectory, with which Liceu has dealt their hardships, seems to convert the theatre into a mirror showing an exceptional overcoming spirit. And this is only one of the ideals rooted in Barcelona, which the city honor and remember with sculptures of all kinds.
